Pot de Plom

Pot de Plom is a theater company founded in Alcoy in 1992 by Xavi Castillo and four friends. Specializing in boundless humor, political satire, and parody, they combine theatrical performances with audiovisual productions such as web series and television programs. Drawing from current events and news, they have developed a unique style with iconic characters, creating productions like Veriueu-ho: investigative theater.

They also practice minstrel-style theater, with a medieval setting, adapting popular tales and folklore for street performances. Despite facing censorship on multiple occasions, such as the famous Xàtiva case, they continue to make audiences laugh with shows and videos full of criticism and humor. Pot de Plom is, at its core, comedy theater!
